Shizuki lives in the treetops of an old forest near a shrine, the area's abandoned for the very most part but sometimes, curious thrill-seekers interested in the shrine trespass and Shizuki entertains herself by tormenting and teasing them with her youkai abilities and eerie, ghostly singing. She is otherwise harmless though, merely a prankster at heart, but she never reveals herself to the people she torments, content in having them blame ghosts for her tomfoolery.
