Personality: Mak is known for being relatively shy, even rather eccentric. Though he showcases an almost inhuman amount of intelligence, he often reserves it and keeps much of his thought processes to himself. No one is ever quite sure just what he's thinking, or what he might be scheming. He has changed much from the Shut-In he was in the First Year, but he's also become more mysterious.

Mak is also very passive aggressive. Preferring to avoid confrontation as a whole and deal with those who anger or annoy him through more subtle means. Be careful.

History: Even from birth, he was nothing more than an experiment to his family. Makumbo, originally, was a Human; born to a familiy of mages in Cairo, Egypt. Every year he was subjected to torturous experiments, forcing an unknown energy into his body in an attempt to recreate control over a once unknown magic type. Null. The energy twisted the mind of the young boy, increasing his intelligence to unprecedented levels for his age, and also making him very rebellious. Time rolled on, and Makumbo's hatred for his family only grew, and grew. To a point, in his 20th year, that he went on a maniacal mass genocide of anyone bearing his family name.

His madness was fueled by the building energy inside of his body, years of experimentation finally taking it's toll and beginning to rip his body apart from the inside out. But also hatred for his families abuse. 5 More years passed, and at the age of 25, Makumbo's body finally had run it's course. The welled up energy escaped in a vibrant explosion, one that took out nearly half of his residence in neon blue flames..

But he was not dead. No.. far from it. The raw energy clung to his human spirit, and reformed his life a new. An Elemental, a primal creature formed out of the raw energies of the universe. More so.. the only Null in existence. And soon, Makumbo would learn why...

His life was reset, as with his age.A mere infant in the eyes of others. But upon his rebirth, the world rejected his energy, and sent him reeling through the fabrics of reality. A tether latched to him, pulling him into the long forgotten realms of the Elemental Planes. A prison meant for what he now was. An Elemental.

His appearance in the Planes was considered by many other elementals as an Omen, and some, a return of the old ages when their kind were free. Little did Makumbo know he was about to be flung unwillingly in a struggle for power among-st the very beings who embodied life and reality in the Multiverse.

Weapons and Strengths: The primary weapon for Makumbo is his own energy, that being the magic known simply as 'Null'. The properties of this magic are very radical, and even unknown by a majority of the magi community. Null, in all purposes, can cancel out or 'nullify' any other school of magic. Either by causing it to fizzle out before being cast (aggressively) or even giving Makumbo immunity to magic in general (defensively).

As one would gather, Makumbo's magic defense is insanely high. However... he loses this immunity due to his frail nature. While he can take on magic with ease, physical blows cripple him greatly. This leads to him taking a more supportive role when faced with confrontation. Due to this, he prefers being the 'man behind the curtain'.

The exact extent of what his magic is capable of doing is thus far Unknown. However he has been known to fire blasts of the energy to knock back enemies, mend wounds and levitate objects about his same weight or size.

Although he is known as an engineer, specializing in robotics; he doesn't tend to share his creations with many. Most of these are often times weapons or simple toys. He claims it to be more of a hobby than a profession. As such, his mind is one of his greatest strengths. He can hatch out plans with relative ease and calculate complex math algorithms without so much as batting an eye.

Faults and Weaknesses: As noted before, Makumbo is rather frail and meek when it comes to physical strength and endurance. He tires easily when induced to physical labor and will typically try to find an easy way out of doing anything of the sort.

Yet his mind can also be his greatest downfall. Due to the near constant state of 'Logic' his mind is locked within, he is always over-analyzing subjects and usually succumbing to extreme Paranoia. He also becomes paranoid about smaller matters, making him assume the worst case scenario before any other option.

He has difficulty thinking with a creative mind-set, being 'out-of-the-box' will not typically work with him. This being said, he has horrendous stage fright and was known to literally freeze up during the first year during Drama Class when ever he was pulled up on the stage. In the end, he dropped out of the class and refused to reinstate it.

Other:

-Don't touch the gem embedded in his chest. You'll find that it reacts violently and can leave a very NASTY burn that can't be healed by traditional means. (Mana Burns really hurt yo!)
-The clothes he wear are known as the 'Null Lord's Regalia'; and are only meant to be worn by him, and him alone.
