Main character from my headworld stuff; and an alter ego of sorts. Her continuity varies, but normally revolves around my novel Reverie; a fantasy-crossover tale about her ties to a magical alternate world and how she's somehow responsible for the fate of it AND ours. O:
Short Bio:
Tavé likes to think her ordinary life in the big city is exactly that— ordinary. During her day job she dreams of something more; while finding her true passion at night as a sultry singer at her friend's cafe and night club. Friends and acquaintances clearly see, however, that there is a truly extraordinary air about her; not only in her unearthly voice and talent, but various other... quirks. Her "normal" life was disrupted by the arrival of Kha'mu; a mysterious and equally quirky stranger of questionable origins who claims to have known her in a life she's forgotten.
Character Tidbits:
— Tavé isn't human, she only looks so. She's aware of this, but knows nothing of her magical origins.
— It seems that no one really knows her true age or date of birth, herself included. A strange past incident left her with little to no memory of her life before mid-adolescence.
— Tavé was raised to adulthood (..?) by her adoptive mother-figure Mrs. Margaret Deveaux, a widowed author of fantasy novels.
— As you may have guessed, Tavé is not her real name. To note, Mu only refers to her as "Ri," indicating a possible nick or shortened form of her birth name.
— The scars on her forearms (hidden under her warmers) are few of many mysterious and unusual markings on her skin. Naturally, she can't recall their origins, either.
— She has a wealth of unusual reactions to natural occurrences such as sunlight and moonlight; directly related to her roots (as a being with an affinity to nature).
— Tavé's gorgeous singing voice is said to make the sun part the clouds. She dismisses this as overly-flattering silliness from her friends and fans.
