Si'ob'oc is an Asarelon from a planet that is almost entirely covered in water save for the shallows near reefs and small scattered archipelagos from ancient volcanic activity. The Asarelon's are hunted for their meat despite their sapience as the meat is thought to have curative powers. Si'ob'oc has always been fascinated by other lifeforms, and the Asarelon's pseudo-telepathic ability allowed him to communicate with those that visited his home. However his curiousity got the better of him and he was captured by a hunting party. Corvid managed to rescue him by chance, seeing him trapped at a market offworld. He is now studying to be a doctor and seems to be a natural at it.
