Isao is from a line of royalty and because of that, does not have many friends or those he can trust.
Because he was born with 5 tails, he is considered to be the 1st son for the throne in his father's stead, despite having 2 older brothers, who adorn 3 tails. Because of this, he is hated by them and is bullied by them constantly.

He was forced to grow up with complete poise and has no outside knowledge of the world. He is completely sheltered and has no concept of fun but see's other non-royalty enjoying their lives with love and laughter and wants to experience that for himself, however finds that his "family" cannot provide what he seeks.

He's attempted to make non-royal friends however has been betrayed quite often or finds that they either fear him or idolize him. He is addressed by his royal name Azure. Speaking his real name, Isao, is a sign of being familiar and only his brother's address him as such, though condescendingly.

Personality wise he is a bit meek, overly formal and has no concept of familiarity or jokes. He can be a bit haughty at times because of his upbringing and because of his poise, makes it seem like he's looking down on others.
