Birth Name: Akira Murakami

Kyr was born in Japan, and abandoned at a Shinto shrine. A feline couple that was on vacation came to visit the shrine, and found her there wrapped in a blanket with nothing but a note left behind with the word Akira written on it. She was very young, and the couple would take her to the police. They kept tabs on the young girl, and when no one would come forward to claim the young pup they would adopt her and take them into her home. The feline couple assumed the young canine's name was Akira (pronounced a-ky-ra). The two felines didn't like the name, and would shorten the name to Kyr.

She grew up with the wealthy russian jackal/wild cat family. They had a son, who was protective of his new baby sister. The family did all they could for her, sending her to the best schools. Once she had graduated, she had wanted to go to college on her own. She still keeps in contact with her adopted parents, often telling them she is doing very well. She has her money problems, but she does not tell her family. They have done so much for her already, she does not want to bother them.

Kyr is an artistic female Akita who loves to wear bright flashy colors.
Kyr dabbled in many things before deciding to finally rest on art, as that is where her heart truly lies.
Growing up she studied, dancing. She took Ballet classes and became a student at a local school of dance learning the Bon Odori. The Bon Odori is originally a dance to welcome the spirits of the dead.

Kyr likes to believe her mother was a beautiful geisha, and that her mother abandoned her so she could continue to be a geisha, this fantasy is what stirred the pot for the young pup to dig into the traditional arts, such as the traditional dances and Kaiga (Japanese painting). It wasn't till Kyr had become so frustrated with trying to find herself in the traditions of Japan that she finally decided to follow her art and travel to the states where she would go to school for art.
