A citizen from The Western Sea. He was rather hostile toward the team at first as the Grundier (those who lives on land) were hunting and endangering his people. Owing the team for saving his life (and later, his people), Semerel later became fond of the 4 Gine members and joined the team on their little "adventure".

Just like the other extras, Semerel is planned to have his own little arc and seldom replaces one of the team members on a random assignment.
