A chance encounter with the entity known as the Dark Knight (DarkKnight) can change one's destiny forever. During such an encounter a dragon accidentally swallowed a part of the Knight, and was taken to the entity's citadel. Quickly, its power strengthened by the energies of the Dark Knight's twisted realm, that part consumed the dragon, manifesting itself and transforming him into the Dark Squire, the loyal servant and brother-in-arms of his lord and master, the Dark Knight. Nothing of the host remains, physically or mentally.

The Squire has similar abilities to his progenitor, such as telekinesis and telepathy, but as he is still learning from his master's teachings he is currently not as powerful in those areas. The green mist that flows from him can either knock out his victims or atomise them completely, absorbing their essence into him to make him more powerful. The thrill of the hunt consumes him, and he is utterly loyal to his master's cause, wanting to help him spread his dark rule.
