In the middle of a mall somewhere, you can find a large metal box, where you would find a kiosk. Sometimes, it seems to be actually set up like a kiosk. Other times there's simply a door, with various signs beckoning you in. Sometimes it's larger, and sometimes it's smaller, but within there is always much more room than there should be. Usually, there's a futuristic laboratory within, but you certainly don't know what most of it is. It might be because you aren't much of a chemist, but more likely it's because what appears at first glance to be scientific materials are really magical potions and regeants.

The owner of this strange box/room/building is a man named Stij. Stij is a man of science. Sort of. He's really working with magic, but gosh, shouting out 'SCIENCE!!' is somehow just more satisfying, even if it's blatantly untrue. And he's got a labcoat. Magicians wear cloaks and robes, not labcoats. That makes him a scientist. Despite his mad tendencies, he gives off a friendly and approachable, if slightly manic demeanor. You'd be more offput by the fact that he's reptillian this week if it weren't for the fact that this kind of occurance is becoming strangely common.

But why is he in a mall? What is he selling? The sign right now is advertising a fancy new weight loss solution but you're pretty sure he was selling chocolate last week.
