Petra is a hybrid of plant and animal. Appearing mostly as a normal cougar, her fur is tinted a bright green from the presence of chlorophyll, which does allow her to gain energy while in sunlight. She is capable of living as a plant for extended periods of time, but becomes dormant quickly. For this reason, she tends to only use photosynthesis as a supplement to her regular diet.

Another plant feature is her ability to produce melons on a regular basis, giving her a recurring gravid appearance.
