Vulky is a kindly and easy-going fox who simply wishes to live a pleasant life. However, his gentle demeanor conceals a rather traumatic past. When he was about six, Vulky's parents were slaughtered and he was abducted as a test subject for a prototype super-soldier serum. When it proved to be a failure, they had to dispose of him . He would have been killed if it hadn't been for a strange race of beings raiding the facility. He tried to return home, but his captors left him no home to return to; only piles of ash and embers. Having nowhere to go, Vulky made his way to an orphanage and lived out a good five years there. In this time, he became close friends with a homeless ursine chibitsu named Ignis, who he would eventually talk into taking residence in the orpanage and would prove to be the dearest friend he could ever have. In this time, he also discovers he wields a strange power called "geomancy", and decides to explore and learn about it in secret. Two more years would pass before Vulky would be adopted by moderately attentive family and Ignis by a rather overbearing family, going their separate ways, but swearing to stay friends and to see each other again in the future. Vulky lives a rather uneventful life with his foster family until moving out and going on his own at 19. Utilizing his gift of geomancy, he starts a small botanical store which quickly grows into a very successful business. Apart from his business success, Ignis returns to town and the both of them catch up with each others' lives. Vulky uses his resources to give Ignis a chance to aspire to and succeed in attaining his dream job; a high-end chef. The both of them are now roomates.
