When people ask me what my character is I often have a hard time answering. The truth is I have two characters - the first and most obvious is the axolotl, who I call Wooper. She is my outer face, the mascot of my business, and the character I most frequently show off - but that doesn't make her any less "me." Wooper represents my derp side, my silly side, my happy side, the part of me what wants to float around and be squishy and cute and snuggle up to people and eat food. She is composed of my favorite combination of colors, and likewise is a mix of my two pet axolotls - Zasz the melanoid and Char the golden albino (though I must admit, Wooper is much more orange than Char!)

My original ref of Wooper was showing its age, and I wanted to make a few adjustments to it as well (mainly, changing the eye color and getting rid of the spots!) Now she has brown eyes instead of green (like me!) and has fattier, cuter hands and toes. Wooper is always a feral creature and never anthro! I'm more partial the feral designs I suppose. :)

And what about my other character you ask? Well she has no name and no proper ref, but she is also older than Wooper and a more complete representation of the ideal me. I'm sure one day I'll make an image for her too, but for now Wooper will have to do. :)
