As Rave spiraled down hill, drugs taking over his life, sending him into a deep depression, he began to develop a dark side...an alter ego. As much as he tried to hold it back it would still come out, he would never know when though. It was like like something larger than him tearing away at his insides. At the darkest of his times this monster would burst from his body, shattering his bones, making him scream out in pain as it emerged out of his back, leaving just a lifeless pile of skin and fur laying behind.

Vare... The monster of corruption. Nobody liked him, he was mean, hurtful....cruel. The tall, lanky fox always wandered into areas that Rave loved most, making his friends start to hate him...despise him. Most people couldn't see Vare, they would just see a darker furred Rave, the only ones that would see him, are the ones the demon let see. That was the point of the gas mask, it hid what was not there...a face.

When the fox was done making Raves life a living hell, he liked to wander into areas of town that most people best avoid. this is where he would show himself. Wandering through alleys or dark bars, people rarely noticed him except his bright green glowing radioactive mark, claws, ears and stripes around his arms lighting the area around him. His fur for the most part hid him well... the blackest of black fur with red tones along his body and under his tail. It sent shivers through even the bravest of persons body.
