Calcipher starts out as a bit over confident, maybe even a bit smug, boasting that nothing can bring him down, and that he would single-handedley discover the world. Although, when his ship "The Marker" gets hit by a rogue storm calcipher finds his personality changing when he wakes up in a hidden city filled with anarchistic machines, waging war amongst themselves. Entire crew killed. While trying to survive and make his way out Calcipher finds two human children, unbeknownst to where they originated he finds himself caring for the two.
