Well, considering what it looks like is going on I would say the "lazy" background works really well! :) Sometimes the best ideas happen when you just start drawing XD

Yup, to really get good at drawing, you gotta have your brain handle all the things without having to think about it deliberately. I think all the great artists don't do much planning d:

I think traditional artists generally need to have some kind of plan, or do tricky things with their layouts XD As digital artists we can cheat and change the size of the canvas at any stage if we get a brainwave for composition halfway through drawing ;)
