I think the title says it all. So every character I have made has always had a purpose. Whether it be for a comic, a spin off story, to show an emotion or pose a lot, or that I never made myself. Each and every one I can point and say "Yeah, they were made because of THIS and for THIS THING. They just get drawn elsewhere sometimes while I work on their thing." But not Viola. Viola was made because I liked a shark coloring contest I entered a while back and thought having a shark character would be fun. Sharks weren't really a thing at the time, and I was bad at getting reference material, so I just drew her as I thought a shark would look. It made her unique. She was never a character set in a world or in a place with a mindset that HAS to there because otherwise it wouldn't progress the story. She is truly my only personable character.
And that's kinda why I draw her a lot. Every other character will get their day eventually. Viola is just along for the ride, much like me.

I love stories like this one. :)
Wabi started as a doodle, because I wanted to draw something cute. Then I wanted to develop him into a fursona, because I didn't have a unique one (everyone knows Keira-Jo and she has a vast history, but was created for a fan club to represent me and is a fan-based 'sona). I never really thought of making him female, even though I intentionally made him to represent me. So if Keira-Jo represents my fandom love and feminine side........Wabi was made to show my original and creative side, and tomoboyishness. :)
