This is pretty different from my usual art, more like something I would have done ten years ago than what I draw now. But it's a special gift for my aunt, who requested a white wolf angel. She was just diagnosed with cancer, and though she seems confident she'll get through it, it's still scary to hear. She said "take your time" with the painting but I did it the second I got the message. My aunt is also my godmother and she really has been more like a parent to me at times, so I am of course worried about her. Any good vibes, well wishes, prayers, or what have you would be much appreciated.

Heartfelt emotional stuff aside, I forgot how diggity darn hard tradtional art is. I thought I'd get this piece done in like three hours. Wrong. It took all day and if I didn't have to work for like a week after this I could have spent a lot longer on it. Of course after finishing it and posting it I've noticed a ton of stuff I want to go back and fix, but I'm worried I'll ruin it since there's no undo button.
