There is NOTHING shameful about playing air geetar. Though, strictly speaking, there's no way of knowing WHAT stringed instrument is being played here; so it's likely something silly, like a mandolin, or a ukulele or something.

I used to play the ukulele; it was no where NEAR that hardcore.

So yeah; going with mandolin.
