PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS IF YOU PLAN ON EVER GETTING ONE OF THESE! ALL INFO ARE IMPORTANT, ESPECIALLY RULES!

Info on the Parapon species

Coat and markings

Can have any color and markings possible though ALL parapon have at least two spots on them.
Can be completely covered in spots!

Habitat

Parapon live on an island called Tea-kona. They mainly live on the coast near the cliffs but can also live in the forests and marshes of tea-kona. They make their home in the nook and cranies of the cliffs if living on the coast, if tey live in the forests they tend to stick with leaves and tree hollows.

Diet

Their diet consist of small fish and other insects. To catch pray, parapon use their tentacles to sting and immobilize pray. They do sometimes scavenge but mainly they enjoy catching and eatting fresh pray.

Life span

On Tea-kona, in the wild they dont tend to live long, 6-8 years at the most. Usually only 2-3 years due to so many predetors picking them off. In captivity however they can live up to 40 years if taken very good care of.
Fun fact: They taste like sweeten red meat and everything on this creature is eddible.

Social habits

Parapon tend to stick in colonies and swarms when they can. They are NOT ammune to their own sting, meaning that if they happen to want to eat another parapon, they will be able to sting and immobilize the other with no problem. They dont enjoy living alone though sometimes cant be avoided. During cold weather they bundle up next to each other. This may be the cuttest thing you will ever see in your life. (picture coming soon!)
Parapon do have a queen and also a king. Like most insects, the queen is much larger then then king, but unlike ants, the workers are not all female. They do have diffrent, more mammal like genetelia. (picture comming soon!)
They do NOT fight for mates. They just sex up whoever they want at anytime.

Comunication

They are not very vocal creatures. They talkwith their tentacles, feelers and body. Usually they feel each other with their feelers and tentacles to comunicate and recognize each other. They do chirp on occation but this has not really been observed in the wild. The parapon seem to be using this type of comunication only with humans, as a sort of mimic to better comunicate with us. In the wild the chirping would only be used to warn others of a danger or pain.

Life with humans

Parapon with humans definetly do live longer and much more comfortably. Humans tend to dress up their babywith all kinds of things from bows to full on outfits. Parapon are very social and are very interested in humans objects like dice and marbles. they seem to really enjoy human interactions and usually warm up very quickly to humans. Although sometimes if they feel threatened they DO sting humans and it is very painful to us. The sting numbs and also swells the area. usually harmfulto us, it can cause allergic reaction in some people and if not treated can kill a human.
