Now for some new figurine paints! Thunder was inspired by painted horses, running free on rough and rugged mountain sides. Thunder also has his very own collar and bell (pictures of that on his store page), so you can hear if he starts to wander too far. I don't know, is it normal to have sculptures wander away? Regardless, these demon dragons go feral once they get a taste of the wild, so to be on the safe side, his collar and bell will be sent with him to his new human.

Weeell, part of my problem may have been the fact that it was cheapo craft store resin that I don't remember the name of. P: I may have also not mixed it right, since it just never set up.
Yeah, I've had that happen too, it's so sensitive to conditions. Sometimes it's like resin has a mind of its own! xD
Hmm, I was doing it in my garage on a rainy night. That may have had something to do with it. I suppose any further attempts will need to be researched first! P:
Curious, what casting process do you use?
Ah, yes, rain and moisture can unfortunately mess things up. There's definitely a place for research, but sometimes it's those "whoops" experiments that really give us the info we need :)
As for process- I use multiple part (usually 2-3 pieces) silicone molds, and eventually I'll get my pressure pot set up to help cut down on the time it takes to clean the casts. Other than that, nothing too fancy, all the molds I can pour and usually get good casts from that :)
Granted, I may be biased on ram's horns, but I really like the design. The color scheme looks great!

Ruggy
This is absolutely fantastic. The few times I've worked with resin, it's just ended in disappointment for everyone. >.> Wonderful motion on this!
