When I first started uploading videos to YouTube back in 2007, I thought "Only a few furries will watch them." That's sure changed for me.
I really think YouTube is one of the biggest reasons why the Furry Fandom has grown so fast in the past decade. When I first saw YT I realized then it could be a great place to promote the fandom. One of the reasons I started making videos was to counter all the bad misleading press furries got (and still get) and to show how much fun this fandom can be.
Back then I used to get messages from plenty of stupid "Yiff in Hell" trolls. Now its 8 year old kids telling me "I Wanna Be a Furry!" Oops.
Until I added them all up, I had no idea I made and uploaded 35 Videos this year and somehow got over 150,000 views from all around the world. And that doesn't count the thousands of pics I took at TFF, FWA, AC & MFM too.
Except when Sony Vegas crashes or when YouTube gives me copyright ID bullshit (which I manage to tolerate) it sure doesn't seem like work. My videos and photos are my way of giving back to the fandom that I love.
And there's still more video on the way as soon as I can find time to sit down and edit them. Thanks Fur Watching!
