That was my favorite dog. She was beautiful, smart, a good watchdog, and even liked children and cats. Her only hangups besides the usual shedding were vacuum cleaners and baths. She did at age 18 of a stroke, and my mom made me promise never to get another one.

Wow, 18 is incredible. Sounds like she was a wonderful dog, I have never had the pleasure of meeting one in person sadly but I do think they seem awesome.

Oh, yes, American Eskimos are wonderful dogs. They're beautiful, cuddly-soft, and very sweet too. I'm sure you would've fallen more in love with them if you had met one in person.
And I didn't know you lived in Texas. Where in Texas do you live? I've lived in Houston all my life, and only just moved to Katy a few years ago.
