it takes three’s attendants an awful long time to suspect schizophrenia since they tend to write off his odd behaviour as just him being young— physically he’s an adult, but he’s really only a couple of months old. only when he starts shouting in an attempt to silence a person who isn’t actually there do they start to ask him the right questions.

which is a bit sad, since finding him standing in the halls at all hours holding a knife and staring at the ceiling wasn’t enough of an indicator, apparently.

and he’s still the safer clone to be around.
