I've been playing Tropico 4 lately. My Presidente has the "war hero" trait, which makes him more effective in combat.

In practice, the results are stunning. In the early game, whenever the rebels decide to destroy a farm, he will often sally out before the 4 palace guards to meet the rebels.

And he will kick their asses.

It's kind of ridiculous; I mean, Presidente has a pistol and he routinely shoots and kills 5-6 rebels armed with assault rifles and causes the rest to flee, and doesn't so much as even take a single scratch himself. He then usually goes back and visits the local cabaret for a while.

Needless to say, I love Tropico 4. Viva la Tropico!
