Time/Era: Free Reign
For: For BeastOfStorms (FA stormy9653) of her foo-dog 'Kaldr' in traditional Shaolin monk/martial artist attire (which has generally stayed the same for over a millennia)!

It was hard trying to choose between this and a haiqing (+ the outer robe) for more of a monk look... or maybe some mix in-between... but the pose ended up lending itself better to the chosen outfit. I also figured this training/meditative pose was a bit more dynamic than a simple sitting down one.

All in all I had a lot of fun with this image, and it was very relaxing listening to this (Tibetian, but close enough) throat-singing generator on the Dreaming or Trance preset. (Great website in general by the way! Fantastic for helping one concentrate. They even have one based on the B-17 Flying Fortress!)
