Drawn in 1996. When I drew this, I only vaguely heard of the play, "Cats". It's interesting having already interpreted a description on FurryMUCK, then having seen the actual Grizabella much, much later. Sort of like my rendition of Jon Talbain, a text description loses a bit of something in translation.

It's strange. While I do miss a bit of how a text MUCK required a lot of imagination, I really love how modern media makes having an avatar look just the way you want it even easier than ever.
