"Drawn in 1996. The night of Friday, September 27th, 1996, I had made up several idea sheets for my new FurryMUCK character! I absolutely ADORED foxes, and I thought the crest of spines looked cool. There were already a ton of fox characters, and I didn't really want to be ""yet another fox"". So, a fox with quills/spines looked really cool! I imagined Tremaine to be cool, strong, charismatic, sexy, funny, and calm in the face of the stress—all things I felt I definitely was NOT at the time. I really needed and wanted a character to be someone else for a while.

Now when I look back at photos of myself in my late teens and early 20s, I was ADORABLE. Now, though, I feel and really believe I am all of the things I desperately wanted to be when I found FurryMUCK. It takes a LOT of work (and great friends), but it's possible!

Tremaine was shirtless mostly because I figured a shirt would be really impractical with all those quills, and he worse loose, baggy pants becaause I loved loose clothing in real life, AND looser pants would allow for easier removal in case a quill snagged on it.

(Some of you have wondered if Tremaine is coming back. At this moment in time, I'm not interested in bringing him back as my fursona; but that doesn't mean drawing him again is off the table! For now, as far as personas go, I'm sticking to my pony OC. I've been a fan of MLP far, far before I ever knew about furry!)"
