"I'm very nervous in huge crowds Veronica. I can't do this-"

"Shhhhh." the silver delphox quieted the primarina. Her paws
was dangling with a single strand of thread.
Like scissors her claw snip as she then marveled at her craft.
Her red eyes pearly glistened at Haupia's glittering dress. "There you go, ready to
go to the formal party?"

Again, Haupia chagrined worried what other males think of her wearing such dress
and drooling like a bunch of glooms. Touching her inappropriately as
if they're waiting to snatch her up with their nasty hands/paws.
Thinking about it makes her uncomfortable with an image that even the delphox could
read her.

"Relax." coaxed the vixen."You have your incineroar mate right by your side!
My dear Leavanny friend is working on his clothes.
I'm sure he wouldn't let his own tiger eyes lose you in his sight."

Right of course...Haupia slowly calmed herself lightly
yet she still dreaded being in a huge group of human/Pokemon
staring at her.

Shaking her head at the pale sea lion the delphox knew this primarina is acting
the same way like her sister but...much worse.
"Here have this cape. Wrap it around you until your ready to show it off.
I'm sure your mate would be quite pleased on how you look when you don't feel like a
scared meowth."

The cape completely covers her body and Haupia felt a little better that
she felt the need to apologize.
"Ah thank you. I'm sorry for having you go through the trouble making this for me...even
though I'm not particularly fond of dressing up in a pretty dress like this."

Frowning the delphox shook her head
"IT's a shame you would deny an artist's craft for making a beautiful dress for you.
Your quite an oddball for not bringing out more of that beauty like other primarinas."

"Well I'm not like them. I don't really care for popularity."

"Suit yourself."

Haupia was then reunited with her trainer Linear; Linear was curious
what her dress looked like that she peaked to see how it came out.
"Wow Veronica really outdone herself with the dress.
Do you like it?" asked her trainer.

"Pri....." Haupia look at the other side.

Linear knew that her starter didn't enjoy drawing too much attention especially
with a dress like hers.
"Don't worry I'm sure Keahi would love to see it though." smiled Linear.

Nodding Haupia eventually found Kale wearing his own formal outfit.
The male primarina look like royalty and the attire was heavily inspired by vaporeon.
"Wow you look very dashing." complimented Haupia.

Kale slightly blushed."Thank you."

He noticed Haupia wearing the cape wrapped around her.
Knowing his friend he didn't questioned the cape that she was wearing instead
he asked her for one thing that was on her mind. "Looking for Keahi?"

"Yes." Haupia chirped.

"Follow me." Trailing behind Kale they eventually found Keahi
who was surrounded by females left and right. Haupia was astonished at
how many gals that Keahi has attracted that she can barely see his head.
"Keahi! Haupia is here!" Kale shouted.

Ears twitched and the incineroar turned at the girls around him. "Sorry, I rather be with my mate."
The girls were displeased as they saw the hunk feline left them.
Keahi was then greeted towards Haupia. "Haupia there you are. You took forever!"
His eyes look directly at hers noticing the cape that she's wearing.
"Is that all your wearing?"

Quietly the primarina whispered but loud enough that her mate can hear.
"No. But I don't think I'm comfortable showing my outfit in this crowd."

Keahi nodded knowing her situation "Do you want to us to go out just the two of us?

Haupia flustered "Y-yes."

His arms immediately pluck her off from the floor and carried her outside.
They didn't went too far from the party but there was less Pokemon/people.
In the end they found a spot that was private enough for the both of them that they briefly kissed.
It was enough that the sea lion managed to take her cape off causing the tiger to gape at her.
Haupia had a good look at his outfit and is captivated by how close his outfit is to Solgaleo.
"Wow the leavanny did a excellent job on making yours like the God of the Sun.""

"And I could say the same for you...Haupia. You're really beautiful." Keahi said
as he was admiring the stars that sparkled on her dress but
she herself look breathtaking to look at. Her outfit was inspired by Alola's
Goddess Lunala.

Flustering slightly Haupia hugged her mate as Keahi accepted it.
The two fire and water starter both blissfully kiss.

Artist Note: Funny thing I showed previews of this drawing
to my friends some reminded them beauty and the beast.
And a couple thought they're married. XD I got the time to put
into effort especially doing the background and drawing the
hawaiian gazebo WAS the hardest part of all but the effort
is really well worth it. I would love to draw Haupia in a beautiful
outfits too so you'll see more of her and occasionally Keahi in future
art! This is a Valentine's gift for my amazing friend.
