Another interesting feature with the inconsistent capitals. Here we see contrasting red pen flourishes, the only such marks on a non-illuminated letter throughout the whole text. This seems to be the only feature in the entire book that points to a 13th century origin; everything else points squarely to the first half of the 12th century, leading me to suspect that this particular letter was embellished by a later scribe.
