Pucca as a mermaid, as I think I remember her, in the episode "Pucca's Fishy Tale"

For those who've never watched the show, here's the scenario:
"While diving for 'pearls of wisdom', Garu encounters a mermaid version of the amorous Pucca. She brings him to her undersea kingdom, where the king tells her they can't live together because he's human. But Garu becomes a hero to the mer-populace by rescuing them from a ruthless fisherman who jams them into cans like sardines. The mer-king reards Garu with a medal and allows him and Pucca to live together...in an aquarium at the local pet shop."

Sounds kind of like a funny ending, don't you think?
