Usually I'm a pretty harsh critic of my own artwork, but once in awhile I'm happy with my work. Like this piece here. I always get my Dad/Agent (lol) to critique my work, and my mom (but you know how mom's are - every single piece is "oh its beautiful honey!" xD), and both of them were super pleased with it. Yay =D

So anyway, this is a commission for kwaku-husky on FA of their gorgeous pup. This dog has the warmest, most welcoming face so that strongly influenced the way that I painted this. I wanted to capture that warmth, so I threw all my cool-tones paints out the window for this one and stuck with my warmer palette.

Its painted entirely with acrylics on 11"x14" canvas.
