Surreal themes are definitely a favourite of mine too! I always love to illustrate characters or stories without making it too obvious what it's about, and sometimes they don't even have to visually included. And I like the idea of people making their own interpretation of the illustration. But yes, I'll definitely draw more of things like this!

I agree, I love working with that kind of stuff! Like, there are cultural symbols that we know as touchstones, but then everyone has their own more subtle personal meanings to these things as well. And sometimes those things can be really different from the typical meaning, too.

Well dang, this is just awesome! Love love the placement of elements, and killer job on the feathers. I just keep wanting to scroll up and down on this one to look it all over again.
