This is something I commissioned from as a present for Merlin after she asked for a picture of Professor Falkirk for her birthday.

I'm uploading this because Amber hasn't yet, and I think it came out really well and yes, there is a certain amount of wanting to show off what I got Merlin - right now it's almost like a secret present and that's weird.

There were several variations on this, in particular because Mab wasn't sure whether it should be fully-lit or not and gave me the PSD so I could decide myself.

I sent Merlin the darker version (and the PSD as well) because the partially-lit version looks more dynamic, but I do also like the fully-lit version because marking student papers in the dark is against health and safety regulations. That it makes his shiny pants look awesome too is completely coincidental.

If Mab uploads the fully-bright version I'll move this to scraps. I may also upload the darker version to scraps, if so, I'll post a link here.

For those wondering, Falkirk Daryil is a full-size poodle, and this kind of fluffy mess is what happens if they aren't groomed. The original design goal was "He should look like a sexy gay mop". I was torn between whether he should be an ungroomed poodle or an Afghan hound (I had the What-A-Mess books when I was a kid)
