This was vent art, sorta.

At the time I'd been feeling a bit down and lonely, and while I do enjoy a good rain (especially storms) there are some times it just seems to add to the depressed feeling.

Poor Nathan, just trying to get a grip and finish suffering through another lonely night, feels the tell-tale sign that things are fixing to become a lot more depressing...and wet.

Yeah sometimes I don't like "depressing/emo" pictures, but sometimes it is good therapy to express your own feelings on paper. The current situation involving a friend has left me feeling rather lonely, and well, kinda down.

The scanner shows a lot more detail and marker "marks" than I can see in real life. I thought I was blending the dark blues a bit better, but perhaps I didn't do as good a job as I thought.

I also hope the dots and stuff on Nathan, his wing and pants show as rain drops, some of which have run a little.

It was a fun piece to create all together though, and I feel like I got the right emotion across. Now I feel Nathan needs something a bit more "happy" or fun, guy deserves it for sure!
