Fate by SSL (critique requested)

Fate
Well, Fate came rolling down highway 36,
It's the only place I've ever called home.
Fate came rolling down highway 36,
I'm chasing a life I've never known,
Living and rolling down Highway 35,
Fate has called me home again.

When times got rough, and you felt all alone,
I was here all along, you weren't on your own.
but now it seems, that dream calls me away,
So I have to leave you here, I'll leave in his grace.
So don't cry for me baby, as I will cry for you,
But fate has called me way, down highway 36,

Well, Fate came rolling down highway 36,
It's the only place I've ever called home.
Fate came rolling down highway 36,
I'm chasing a life I've never known,
Living and rolling down Highway 35,
Fate has called me home again.
Following my hopes and dreams, down that lonely stretch of road,
Life is still rolling on

So in the years, I will return
So many good men have come and gone.
I've seen so much in my countless years,
But on highway 36, I'm still rolling on.

Well, Fate came rolling down highway 36,
It's the only place I've ever called home.
Fate came rolling down highway 36,
I'm chasing a life I've never known,
Living and rolling down Highway 35,
Fate has called me home again.
Following my hopes and dreams, down that lonely stretch of road,
Life is still moving on.

I wrote this this morning in First and second period. My guitar and Band class respectively. While they aren't included here, this is also written with guitar chords as well as a solo after the second chorus and an ending as well :)

Hope you enjoy.
