While inside this huge "Spider" snake creature's belly, Link wondered for a moment why all of their insides were that candy-apple red. Admittedly it was pretty--but eerie! The Guardian of Hyrule pushed out against the pulsing stomach walls with all their strength in an attempt to keep the slime-coated flesh from wrapping around and cocooning him. On the outside Link's efforts resulted in a rounded bulge as the hero's brute force stretched muscle and several of Spider's flexible ribs outward. The Maranaga giant smirked, greatly amused by the young hylian's attempts at escape and feisty attitude. But of course, this was the point. There was no better way to test one's courage and resourcefulness than to brave the winding, flexing corridors of the Snake Temple's true "dungeon"--unarmed Link couldn't hope to fight the giant serpent, and the Pendant of Courage would not appear until this test had been completed to the Goddess's satisfaction.

The naga uttered a soft grunt as they felt Link's struggles grow near to the pyloric valve in the pit of their stomach. For Link it was as if the twisted folds of muscle and mucus membranes had flowered open and revealed his escape: The valve had relaxed open, showing Link a narrow and darkened channel deeper into the creature's body, a thin trickle of the fluids he had shared the stomach with beginning to drip down. Link followed them, either not thinking or not caring to think of where this route would eventually lead him. All he knew is he had to escape Spider's belly. The intestines flexed and a deep groan echoed from deeper within--and Link was pulled by a strong suctioning force into the next leg of his journey.

Came a long way--I'm happy with it! :D Even if Link... may not be... OwO; Eheheh...
