In my Proteus Campaign, World War II was one of the periods in history when heroes and villains possessed of extraordinary abilities appeared en masse. Wulf was one of these, appearing in Nazi Germany. Never a Nazi, he was recruited as a soldier before his abilities manifested, and eventually turned against his nation when he discovered one of the concentration camps. Notably he single-handedly liberated that place and called in Allied forces. As might be apparent from the image, Wulf was essentially a werewolf.

One of the three surviving heroes of that time, Wulf now leads the United Nations Metahuman team.
