One fondly remembers the first dog they ever loved. Be it fictional or RL. As a wee one, the first dog I fell in love with was Smidgen, the oversized mutt hound in the WB cartoon, Lumberjack Rabbit.

So what if he was 124 feet tall. Just the right size of dog for me! So here's a toast to past hounds. And to Smidgen...all 4600 tons of dog!
