Yay! I got 2 more characters down, including getting a new volatikai type drawn out. ;P She's an Eastern volatikai

The guy is named Jack and I am leaning towards naming the girl Fiona.

Jack is very important to my story. He is the one that got the town/village made to allow volatikai and humans to live and have offspring.
He's also the guy who delivers Hunter for Rose (through C-section). He is really the ONLY male that Pierce trusts almost completely. Of course it's not like that at first. XD

SOME BACK STORY.

In his mid teens or so he found this female volatikai hurt somewhere. He ends up healing her and taking care of her, and begins to teach her how to speak. He names her as well. They quickly become friends, and a few years later, lovers. After "dating" for about a year, Jack gets her pregnant.
He doesn't know it's against the law, but finds out the hard way when police arrest him for a few months, and then force the girl to have an abortion.
Once he gets out of prison, he gets back with her, and while still enraged, demands to go to court with some government officials. He tried at first to show that keeping humans and volatikai "pure" was idiotic, since they do allow dating to happen and whatnot. When that didn't work, he then pleaded to have some land of his own where he, and others like him, could live peacefully.
The details of that are still being figured out... but he does end up winning and gets a piece of land by the ocean. He also gets the neighboring mountain as well, so he decides that's where families can live, while the necessities are by the ocean. The gov't would send in /some/ supplies each month, but otherwise he was on his own.
The new law was that they HAD to stay in that town/village. They couldn't leave. Neither could anyone else who lives there.

Though the gov't still tries to keep the place secret. They'd rather keep humans and volatikai pure and will force any female of either species to have an abortion if they were to mix (unless they somehow knew about the village and lived there).

Jack let's people live there for free, but in exchange he asks that those who stay would help out with daily chores or building different things or food.

The name "Fiona" is sticking more and more. She is very shy and only trusts Jack. Everyone else she hides from.
She also doesn't like pain, so Jack decided to put their bonding rings on necklaces and to have around their necks at all times.
