Commission for Ardenfetz

Otters (WIP):
Just to prove I am working on Commissions here is the under drawing for the first one. There have numerous interruptions, and the fact I had to wait for my shipment of paint to arrive has made just getting started on any commission slow at best.

Ardenfetz wanted a pair of feral Otters, in a dynamic yet scenic way. Thus this! The fish are yellow perch (which are tasty, even if you are not an otter. I like mine lightly fried with ketchup). I have been recording each step as I go from the thumb nails to now, I am on step 6. I (as usual) got carried away on the shading and details, which are really a waste of time. Such things get lost in the following layers...

I will make a lengthy post about my painting process step by step later. I thought this one would be a good one for such a thing...

Quite good. You've shown them with their front legs tucked to the body, which is really how otters swim underwater.
