Here, we have Rinji paying a visit to the isolated and neutral land of the fireflies. These little anthro insects prefer their isolation from the rest of the world and choose not to take sides. That said though, they hear about many things in the world and can even hear things from the spiritual world on the other side of the physical one, and are willing to share some of what they know to whoever wishes to listen.

Such is the reason behind Rinji's visit. He has heard rumors of a possible conflict being instigated by the rat anthros, and is getting the scoop on it while also using this place to calm his mind after a long and arduous journey.
