SolAxe draws absolutely amazing pictures. And I just keep on commissioning him and writing words with for them. So, after some back and forth with him, decided to splurge and get a whole series arted up starring a hunky squirrel guy that myself and WatchOutForDragons dreamed up! Then of course can't forget Max the husky who belongs to Sol!

Panting, Max dragged an arm across his forehead. Fishing his phone out of his pocket, his thick digits struggling to slide inside the folds lining the sides of his shorts, the husky swiped through the hourly weather forecast.

He grunted at the proclamation that clear skies, accompanied by a gentle breeze, awaited him. Only after he closed out a handful of popups, granted. “Figures. Serves me right for downloading this adware laden garbage,” Max grunted as he forced his way through the humid and soupy haze that had settled on the city streets. The moisture laden air, combined with the oppressive heat, obscured the husky’s surroundings. Parked cars shimmered and wavered in place. As did the facial features of an unknown observer lurking among the clouds.

Shaking his head, Max retreated into the shade offered by the awning of the apartment building before him. Arms crossed about his bare chest, he impatiently tapped–

“Relax, relax, I’m coming,” a rich and syrupy baritone called out.

Smirking, Max’s ears perked to attention as the door to the apartment’s lobby jingled open.

A squirrel, well-built and smartly dressed, stepped out into the haze and instantly grimaced.

“One of these days you’ll listen to me,” Max snorted.

“Look. No, seriously, look at me,” Walter teased. “You know I look damn good in this uniform,” the squirrel insisted as he tugged at his collar. “Why wouldn’t I wanna show it off?”

Brows arched, Max could do little more than laugh. Arms swinging at his sides, the husky’s massive biceps brushing against his generous pectorals, the canine tutted as he strode down the sidewalk. “Show off, huh?”

“Yeah, I get it, the uniform’s a little tight on you,” the squirrel acknowledged. “Now I’m not saying you don’t rock the shirtless look!”

“Mmhmmm,” Max teased as he puffed out his chest.

Walter rolled his eyes as the husky bumped those broad and hulking shoulders against him. “I’m just saying you can do better. It’s all about the presentation. Sure, the uniforms are a bit stuffy. But that’s the beauty of it, right? How they cling tightly to your every curve and emphasize every pound of muscle packed onto that hefty husky frame of yours. The whole appeal is how little it leaves to the imagination.”

“Why leave anything at all?” Max shot back with a smile.

The squirrel couldn’t help but laugh. “Fine. You call it practical but I call it lazy.”

“Nothing wrong with leaving my uniform at work. Besides, you know I look better without it.”

Cheeks puffed out, Walter smirked. “I don’t have to answer that,” the squirrel shot back.

As the duo navigated the city streets, sighing in relief when the unnatural haze finally lifted, their banter turned boisterous as they struggled to stay focused. Playful teasing turned into heated discussions about where to stop for lunch as their stomachs gurgled, grumbled, and roared. Their welling appetites, spontaneous and unrelenting, all but demanded that the husky and squirrel stop to eat. Again. And again. And again…
