First of all, I realize I'm making a risk by uploading this here, given how many people here are fans of something.
Regardless, this is vent music, if you will, meant to express my growing hatred for fandoms. I'll confess: I am a fan of a few movies. My problem, however, is some of the general communities of fans for a given product, and sadly, the controversial bronies are only part of the equation. Even when ignoring all of the porn, it's still disgusting how much fighting and bullying there is over content that isn't even real.
That being said, in my frustration over one such fandom, which shall remain nameless, I had made this piece before the weekend and finally grew the guts to reveal this message now.

Indeed; it sucks that most people are mentally incapable of admitting that they're not always right, meaning that, when it comes to this situation, the best solution IS to block them. I acknowledge I've sometimes picked fights with people, but honestly, sometimes I doubt it was solely my fault in those cases (i.e. one person having anger management issues in general).
I appreciate the advice, nonetheless, and thank you for listening.

The cases I've dealt with were typically due to major boundary violations and general sleaze.

On the other topic of the text. This problem happens everywhere in all sites, not because your have hide yourself from others, in this world there is room for everyone.

Yes, I understand the fighting is inevitable no matter what you talk about, but I find it highly questionable to fight about something that isn't real life.

Yep. I actually had someone try to force themselves on Tankaa early last year, and that truly opened my eyes to how monomaniacal and lacking in empathy some people can be. Other individuals, especially those low on the power spectrum (or pecking order), are to be treated as meals and/or playthings that can be idly cast aside. (I've encountered similar phenomena in tabletop RPG groups with the breed of powergamer known as the "munchkin." Same basic mindset.) The only way to stand up to them is block or ignore them, and yet they remain unable to realize that they were in the wrong. It's just this continuous, self-reinforcing narrative that divorces people from reality similar to the experience of someone looping Better-Than-Life simulations.
The music itself brings cyberpunk RPGs to mind, which makes the BTL analogy even more appropriate.
I think you're in the same phase I was a bit over a year ago, when I started looking for an exit. (It took too long for me to pull up my stakes, and the darn character redesign work still hasn't ended. Salvaging Tankaa was worth it, though, since it allowed me to preserve a unique primary.)
