Finished commission for "chinook_orca" in FA, of his character "Amber" with her surfboard.

At first one may think the easiest thing to do would be a portrait of her on the beach showing off her board, but since I'm a bit of a masochist open for trying out new things I thought to do something different.

I didn't find proper tutorial or explainations on how to draw tidal waves (only for traditional media), so I resorted to the classic "look at the picture and try to emulate with what you got" using both a painting and a photo as references, and... What do you think, considering this is the first time I draw something like this ^^ ?
