Yes, his design DOES have some influence from the assassin's of the "Assassin's Creed" games, but that is only to pay a humorous homage to the games.
Nothing more. In his final design the hood will not be pointed.

He is NOT meant to be anything related to "Assassin's Creed"... just because he's an assassin, lol!
**[[He's not Altaïr, Ezio, or any other assassin made into a cat. I did not turn any of the AC assassin's into a cat.
Giovanni is his own character.
Please remember this and refrain from posting "omg it's Ezio as a cat!" comments?
Also, this is not Puss from 'Puss and boots' lol
I should not have to say any reasons or clues as to how it's not him because... well, appearance wise he's not even close to Puss.]]

BIOGRAPHY/HISTORY:

"Born and raised in the back alleys or Italy, Giovanni was born poor. His mother often worked for local farmers, catching mice for meager meals to feed her children.
Since a young age Giovanni dreamed of a bigger life. A life with adventure, danger, and even romance, but being born poor it seemed he was destined to die poor.
However, as he got older Giovanni took to running the streets with a band of thieves, learning to pickpocket and steal what he wanted or needed, often bringing back large meals for his mother and siblings.
He would lie and tell his mother he was working at a restaurant as a mouser, but in time the lie was exposed and soon Giovanni's mother found out her son was a thief. Everything he'd given her and his siblings was stolen.
Of course there was no way she could stand for this so she gave her son an ultimatum; life honestly or get out. It seemed cruel, but Giovanni's heart ached on what he'd done to dishonor his 'mama' so he took to finding a job that suited his mother's desire for honest living but also catered to his adventurous nature.
This was when he discovered the hidden world of the 'Felino Assassino"-- and underground group of feline 'warriors' that often worked their lives 'killing' or 'destroying' the lives of those that reaped benefits of extorting the poor living in poverty.
They welcomed Giovanni, despite his reputation as a thieving street-rat.

It was a dangerous prospect; living life as a 'shadow' but it was honest work. You can't get more honest than killing for a living, can you?
Either way, Giovanni trained to learn the ways of the 'Assassino clan'. At first it seemed as though this line of work would give Giovanni exactly what he wanted; secure payment but the thrill of adventure and 'the chase'.
However... the truth and reality of how the assassin's world worked was soon revealed to him, and for a long time he was unsure he'd made the right choice.
Although he had accompanied the senior members of the clan on their missions, witnessing the killings of high class cats; holders of high society and dangerous dealings, Giovanni himself had never drawn the blade against fur before.
One fateful day that would change... The day his father returned to town..." (to be continued...)

"Incredibly suave and often a bit too cool headed, Giovanni believes in taking life in stride. His line of work has made him appreciate patience, but his personality often makes him seem impatient.
He can also be a bit 'arrogant', often thinking highly of his skills and himself, but deep down he's actually quite a humble guy. It's all for 'appearances' really-- 'if you're not confident in what you do, you're not good enough at it.'

Although the two of them are very much alike, he and Puss rarely agree on anything other than the fact that they both do NOT like each other.
Puss, being the hothead he is often tries to get Giovanni in a fight but Giovanni finds little interest in such matters. Instead choosing to focus his efforts on annoying Puss in any other possible way-- for instance taking his scores and even flirting with his girl. Although he'd never really do it to 'hurt' Puss, he does enjoy seeing the infamous 'ladies cat' go red with annoyance."
