One of the greatest pokemon experiences I had in a long time by NimbusTheMix
so, tonight I was playing pokemon sun on my DSXL. I wanted to SOS a umbreon by getting it from the wild, so I went hunting for it.
while I was hunting, I stumbled across a shiny rattata. I caught it and named it speedy (after the loony toons character).
after that I finally got my umbreon and named it Benjamin. after that, my metapod evolved into a butterfree, all In the same night. holy crud do I love this game lol.

I had a weird and random experience in Ultra Moon where I kept............I don't know why..............running into Shiny Cutiefly. I was levelling up and yeah, there's lots in that particular field...............but every fifth or sixth encounter was Shiny. It was pretty bizarre. Probably the first Shiny in the wild I've encountered since HeartGold. XD

the first shiny I ran into was a shiny meowth in pokemon fire red, but I killed it trying to catch it.. ;^;

I did that in HeartGold..............Shiny Ponyta............tried so hard to catch it, whittling down it's HP. And it then used a self-kill move, one where they attack and it causes recoil damage. I felt like my world had ended. wry laugh
