I really wanted to try making an art doll for Mephit Furmeet this year. It was a struggle, and I was working up until the day we headed out for the con, but I was successful! Meet Rika, a sweet little fox art doll. As MFM has skunks for mascots, I thought it would be cute for her to have her own little skunk costume. That was a particular challenge as I had never made clothing before and mostly made the pattern on my own. O.O The hooded cloak is removable by velcro. Along with that, I also tried experimenting with painting on facial details as well as trimming the fur on her face. I think all the little challenges were successful for this. I just wish I had gotten a good picture of her little toe beans.

It was hard to give up Rika. It's so easy to fall in love with these little babies. I just hope her new family loves her.
