P9 – Soak up some sun

Arysdron opened his eyes. That was all he could do. He could move his eyes slightly to look around, but his neck was locked into position and his jaws clamped shut. From what he could make out, he saw nothing but the bark of a tree as his body, with what he imagined was the relative shape of his dragon head as it’s top.

He still felt his body, but it was completely immobile and firmly rooted to the spot. Thankfully, the itching had stopped!

Well, at least I’m not completely inanimate this time, but I still can’t move! Arysdron though in frustration.

He became aware of sensations like his roots beginning to take up water in the soil. None of them were very interesting however, and he was probably going to be here for a while, without being able to do anything other than soak in the ambience.

How DO trees do this all day anyway?!
