P5 – Cost me an arm & a leg

Whoa!
Thump! His earlier wiggling had finally upset his barely balanced torso, causing him to flop down onto his back.

Oh dammit.

Arysdron took several minutes to contemplate his embarrassing situation. He’d been reduced to just a head and torso! Looking like he’d been hatched without any arms, legs, wings, tail, horns, teeth or spikes. And without proper functioning vocal cords.

He could at least wiggle his neck, chest, shoulders & waist. Squirming about told him he wasn’t going to get anywhere fast. Still, he had to try.

Crunching his neck & chest, he was eventually able to flip over onto his belly and begun crawling using his shoulders and waist. Perhaps he could look for help.

Arysdron didn’t get too far however, as he suddenly felt something holding him back. He cranked his neck back, only to see roots growing out of where his legs used to be.
