That's a pretty cool ripple effect. It looks like he's palm struck a bubble or some such.
I have no doubt you could make some rad comics. That stylized smash really pops, and even though these are all sketches, the poses are dynamic and the framing of the characters just looks -cool-. -

Yea this was a random sketch page. The wolf thing was trying to revise the turbo killer-inspired design by making it more robotic and non-human.
